Reasons to Leave Shanghai

without comments

Although we have many reasons to live in Shanghai, there are also a lot of reasons for us to leave Shanghai, especially for those none native Shanghai citizens.

The cost of living in Shanghai is more expensive than many other big cities in the world. The average housing price is higher than 20,000 RMB per square meter, while the average monthly wage is only 3566RMB in Shanghai. In another word, we have to work 46 years to buy an apartment with 100 square meters.

Secondly, the transport in Shanghai is very crowd and expensive. At rush hour, you even do not have a tiny bit of land in the subway, and the ground traffic is also crowd. It cost 40,000 RMB to buy a license plate before you can drive.

In the end, the rhythm of life is busy and anxious under the big living pressures. The competition here is stiff, you don’t have enough time to stay with family.

Every coin has two sides, Shanghai is a good city for businesses, but it may be not suitable for living.
