About the Walk:
Chor Bizarre, one of Delhi’s most iconic dining destinations, has reopened at its original home on Asaf Ali Road as it marks 35 years of celebrating food, memory, and culture. Much like Purani Dilli, the space is shaped by stories of nostalgia, resilience, and everyday life found in shared meals, familiar streets, and generations of lived memory.
This two-hour heritage walk on Sunday, February 22 | 9:45 am – 11:45 am traces Daryaganj’s journey from a Mughal extension of Shahjahanabad to a colonial commercial hub, and later, a site of nationalist politics and post-Independence public life.
